Estate Planning and Administration Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning and Administration Attorney who can manage a dynamic workload in a supportive close-knit environment that prides itself on fostering a commitment to work-life balance.

Specific job duties include the ability to:

  • Showcase excellent verbal and written communication skills that can be clearly articulated to clients and colleagues alike;
  • Educate clients;
  • Design and craft custom estate plans utilizing vehicles such as: wills, trusts (both testamentary and inter-vivos), and powers of attorney;
  • Analyze and effectuate effective tax avoidance strategies;
  • Facilitate entire spectrum of estate administration from client contact to strategy to court appearances if necessary; and
  • Construct and implement solutions through the use of TEDRA.

Candidates must:

  • Possess a JD from an accredited law school or equivalent law clerk program and be licensed to practice law in the State of Washington;
  • Have at least 3 years prior experience with estate planning and administration in a sophisticated law firm;
  • Be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
  • Though not necessary a background in taxation such as a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or an LL.M in taxation will be given preference.

Ultimately successful candidate will be an enthusiastic contributor to the Firm and office culture, and have a collaborative approach to not only their work environment, but also their individual work product.

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and current book of business

The job may be hybrid and/or part-time, for which compensation will be adjusted accordingly.
